Today’s Workout: Body Pump
I decided to hit up the Gym and do a body pump class with Sara. This was was my first time, and it was a lot of fun.
Body Pump is a one hour strength training class where you use lower weight and high repetitions (and I mean a lot of reps).
We got there early and warmed up on the treadmill. That little spike in the heart rate (at the 7min mark) was a competition between Sara and I. We were would increase the speed and incline of the treadmill ever so slightly each person creeping up 0.1 mile at a time.
The warm up and workout burned over 800 calories.
